Collagen Therapy Bed HireCollagen is a human protein that is responsible for our skin's tightness, elasticity, suppleness and moisture level. As we get older, our body produces less Collagen which leaves us with skin dryness, reduced elasticity, lines and wrinkles.
The gentle red light waves of Collagen lamps stimulate the skin's Collagen fibres to start producing Collagen in the deeper layers of the dermis again. With Collagen lamps, skin rejuvenation is no longer a dream. A series of studies has shown that collagen production can be stimulated with red light waves of 633 nano-meters. Exposure encourages the skin to produce Collagen and certain enzymes that are responsible for the skin's supportive structure.
You can hire a Collagen Therapy bed from us, either an over bed canopy which has 9 tubes and 4 facial boost tubes , or you can hire a double unit which has 9 tubes and 4 facial boost tubes in the canopy, and 9 tubes in the base.

Red light therapy works on all skin types, but please ensure that the skin is clear of make up as this can reduce the effectiveness of the treatment.
Collagen therapy treatment will not tan you as the red light tubes do not produce UVA or UVB rays, therefore there is no tanning effect.
During all red light therapy treatment sessions we recommend that you wear goggles because of the brightness of the lights.
Collagen red light therapy can be beneficial to people of all skin types and all ages.
There are times when red light therapy is unsuitable and treatment should be avoided, such as if you are photo allergic or take medication or use cosmetics that may cause light sensitivity, if you suffer from epilepsy or porphyria, or if you are taking cortisone or steroid injections. You should avoid treatment if you are unsure, and consult your doctor for further advice.
