Sunbed GogglesWhy wear sunbed goggles?
If you use a sunbed you really must protect your eyes from the UVA and UVB light emitted. Closing your eyes will not give them the level of protection required as your eyelids are too thin to give you full protection.
Without proper sunbed eye protection during a tanning session you are risking burns to your cornea, cataracts and retinal damage. Your salon has to supply eye protection, either free or they may charge for it, either way you should not take the chance.
We offer an extensive range of sunbed goggles some are disposable such as iSTICKERZ and WINKEASE, some are re-usable such as iGoggles and Solar Tan sunbed goggles. All are designed for ease of use and are easy to carry.
Solar Tan Sunbed Goggles are specifically designed and manufactured for use on sunbeds and should be worn by anyone having an indoor tanning session. They provide protection from UVA (60%) and UVB (99%) light emitted from sunbeds. They are fully adjustable to allow you maximum comfort and the best possible fit to give your eyes the maximum protection they should have.
You should be aware that just closing your eyes during a sunbed session does not protect your eyes from UV light as your eyelids are too thin to give full protection, and draping a towel across your face will not protect you either as this will only filter the light. Without proper eye protection during a sunbed session you are risking burns to your cornea, cataracts and retinal damage.
Solar Tan Sunbed Goggles are made in compliance with EN 60335-2-27: 1997.
Igoggles Sunbed Goggles are, as with Solar Tan sunbed goggles specifically designed and manufactured for use on sun beds and should be worn by anyone having an indoor tanning session. These sunbed goggles are polished optical lenses and come in either red or green.
iGoggles are easy to use, simply push the elastic cord into the cord retention brackets located at either side of the lens, position the lenses over your eyes ensuring that they sit comfortably over each eye, make sure that no light can enter under the rim of the lenses, further adjust if necessary and tie a double knot in the elastic band.
Igoggles Sunbed Goggles are made in compliance with 21 CFR 1040.20 Performance Standards for Sun Lamp Products.
