Sunbed goggles must be worn to protect your eyes during a tanning session, whether indoor or outdoor tanning.
Simply closing your eyes does not provide protection from UV light and draping a towel across your face does not block the UV either, it only filters it.
The purpose of tanning goggles is to protect your eyes from the harmful effects of ultraviolet (UV) light.
Without wearing tanning goggles during a tanning session you are at risk from burns to the cornea, cataracts and retinal damage.
Eye irritation and conjunctivitis characterize burns to the cornea. Individuals who contract conjunctivitis can expect tearing and crusting of the eyelids as well as blurry or foggy vision.
iGOGGLES sunbed goggles are a re-usable total UVA and UVB eye protection product suitable for indoor or outdoor tanning sessions.
They can be adjusted to achieve a good comfortable fit by moving each eye cup along the elastic strap which will then properly protect your eyes. The elastic will not leave an un-tanned line.
